Today things took a while to get going but eventually most cars managed to get some time on the track and the lights came on so the cars ran into the night. The track was shut down at 9 pm.

Unfortunately the crowd was very small, I guess this is due to the lack of advertising and hype build up. I hope for the promoters that the populace shows up in force for tomorrow otherwise they are going to loose a lot of money!!

The Trinidadians were very impressive with two cars that ran low 9's. In fact they were faster than the bikes!! Hopefully with better traction the bikes will get back on top again.
A lot of cars did not run because either they were not there like Khaos which is still being worked on or Risky Buisness which only got out of customs late yesterday and they are working on it. But also some of the drivers have not shown up yet and are coming in tomorrow.

So Sunday should be pretty impressive and I urge everyone to make the effort to come and support drag racing here in St. Lucia if at all possible.
